Overages
When you exceed your plan's included Stream Units or AI Messages, Keep'em doesn't cut off your viewers. Service continues uninterrupted. Overages are tracked and billed at the end of your billing cycle.
Overage Rates

These rates are designed to be fair for occasional overages. If you're consistently going over, upgrading to the next tier is usually more cost-effective.
Notifications
Keep'em sends usage notifications at key thresholds so you're never surprised:
- 80% usage — A heads-up that you're approaching your limit
- 90% usage — An urgent notice with options to upgrade or prepare for overages
- 100% usage — Confirmation that overages are being tracked (if enabled) or that limits have been reached
Enabling Overages
By default, paid plans have overages enabled — your content stays live and any excess usage is billed at the end of the cycle. You can disable overages in your project settings if you prefer a hard stop at your plan limit.
Trial accounts have a hard stop with no overages.
Dashboard Visibility
Your project dashboard shows real-time usage meters for both Stream Units and AI Messages. When you're in overage territory, the dashboard shows projected costs based on current consumption.
