Organizations

An organization is the top-level entity in Keep'em. It owns billing, manages team members, and contains all your projects and events.

Creating an Organization

When you sign up for Keep'em, you'll be prompted to create your first organization. Give it a name — this is typically your company or team name. The person who creates the organization becomes the Owner.

Roles

Organizations use role-based access control with three levels:

Owner — Full access to everything, including billing management and the ability to delete the organization. Only one person can be the Owner at a time, though ownership can be transferred.

Admin — Can manage projects, invite and remove team members, and configure organization settings. Admins cannot access billing or delete the organization.

Member — Participates based on project-level assignments. Members can see projects they're assigned to and contribute within those projects, but cannot change organization-level settings.

Multi-Tenant Use

Agencies or companies with multiple departments can use Keep'em's multi-tenant architecture in two ways:

One organization, multiple projects — Each client or department gets their own project with separate branding, events, and API keys. Billing is centralized.

Multiple organizations — Each client or department gets their own organization with fully separate billing and team management. Useful when clients need their own invoicing.

Billing

Billing is managed at the organization level. Your subscription plan, usage meters, and invoices all live here. See Plans & Pricing for details on tiers and costs.
